Vain is the help of help

Vain is the help of man

a poem by R.A. Jacob

Vain is the help of man,

Whose favour is as shifting sand,

I can't seek human favour,

You can better understand.

At my knees I plead and intercede,

For I know if you favour,

No human shield I need,

Protection of the protector I need.

Can someone hurt the eye of the Lord,

No it can never be,

I bank on His protection,

No human shield I need.

His shield is my vanguard,

His shield is my defence,

His shield is just sufficient,

His shield is my defence.

My voice

My voice

a poem by R.A. Jacob

My voice is often ignored,
Though I am loud and clear,
The world has chosen to ignore it,
So what if you can't hear.

I will raise my voice to my creator,
For sure, He shall hear,
My voice, my Lord,
Is my prayer.

Prayer is meant for the creator,
Not meant for human ears,
So what if they couldn't, understand,
So what if they couldn't hear.

I talk to the Almighty,
What more do I need,
So what if no one cares,
Christ is there to head.

It's morning and I thank Him a poem by R.A. Jacob

It's morning and I thank Him,

For a good night's sleep,

For His love, I thank Him,

For protecting his sheep.

Love me the way, you love me,

Let me always know you, love,

Your love is sufficient for me,

As your banner over me is love.

What more do I need to know,

Your love is sufficient every time,

Your love as radiance over me glows,

I live in your protection every time.

I live in perfect assurance,

Dangers perish at his sight,

Not because of my Goodness

Your nature is goodness and light.

Let dangers come and perish,

Your vanguard has never failed,

Fears also in him doth perish,

In Him my dear I prevail.

I rest in His will sublime,

My defence is strongest every time,

With Him all mountains I climb,

His protection is perfect every time.

Reginald Ajay Jacob

Note- The scriptures say, anyone who blesses his friend in the morning, it shall be counted a curse. Why because morning time belongs to God and we should thank Him and Him, alone the one who gives all good things.

Wow! I think I have told you this before, but I will repeat it anyway, your faith is a blessing and an inspiration to me!

Edwin Jepson Wonderful poem Reginold, God is love, verses full of praise, Eddie

Nishu Mathur A beautiful prayer poem, Reginold. Very uplifting to read. Fond wishes

Provider of seed I pray thee

Provider of Seed I pray thee,

Let none of the seed, perish in store,

Let them die in the field,

Where each brinks hundredfold.

So many of thy seeds in my granaries,

So much of grace have I found,

Plenty is the land for tilling,

Sower are yet to be found.

Sometimes I wonder what I will answer,

When He comes to seek for fruits

Shall I show Him the granaries

When He asks me for fruits

None is worthy who looks back,

After putting his feet on the plough,

Let me till the land for Him,

He is my all in all.

Some things won't ever be known

Partial Truth

a poem by R.A. Jacob

Some things won't ever be known,

Even If you did them right,

Some things won't ever be known,

Even if you were just right.

It can only be God,

He knows what is right,

Humans are limited every time,

They can't see what is right.

How many partial truth shall be heard,

How many fabricated lies,

Pray to the Lord for wisdom,

For in Him all knowledge lies.

Note: This poem is about people who always highlight mistakes. You will find them next to you in your office organization,& school. They will advertise your mistakes, announce your faults. Wish that you fail for sure, nevertheless, it is God's will that always prevails. So be of good courage my soul.

At his footstool, I seek my strength

At his footstool, I seek my strength,

The Lord of heaven and earth,

He truly knows my worth,

That's why He came to the earth.

Or why should the creator,

Of heaven and earth,

Die on the cross,

On this very earth.

For, He knew I am of worth,

Maybe not in your eyes,

Yet in my Savior's eyes,

There all honour Lies.

For Him I am worthy,

For Him I am great,

For. He takes care of me,

As I on His alter wait.Amen.

I fight my battle on my knees

I fight my battle on my knees, for

He fights my battles for me,

You may wonder how it happens,

Yet I know, I win on my knees.

He fights my battles,

He fights for my rights,

He is my protector,

He is my guiding light.

He is more than sufficient,

He is MIGHTY indeed,

He is my protector,

No human protection, I need.

His vanguard never faileth,

His love always prevails,

I am on my knees,

As he doth always prevails.

I love Him, His love is sufficient for me,

I love Him, all failure shall flee,

No, He cannot fail any time,

He is my light, He is my life.

Edwin Jepson A wonderful poem Rufus, yes, the good Lord will always be there for you, Eddie

Emmanuel Ntezeyombi That is awesome. So well expressed, inspiring and true. God bless.

At His footstool, I bow down

At His footstool, I bow down,

He is God of Heaven and Earth,

I am His servant He knows my worth,

That's why He came to this earth.

Sinner, He knows for sure,

Savior, I know for sure,

Nothing can be hidden from His eye,

He makes this worthless pure.

You use the useless,

You build up the weak,

You are my defender,

Your love, my Lord, I seek.

Continue to use this vessel,

As my Lord, you will,

For your plans are good,

You will take me uphill.

Your servant seeks your direction,

You are the preserve of life,

I live in accordance with thy plans,

As I know I am in your hands. Amen.

My prayer has lost its words

My prayer has lost its words

A Poem By Reginold Jacob,

My prayer has lost its words,

Yet it still can be heard,

Not every prayer needs a word,

Yet they can be heard.

No request to seek in open,

Yet a prayer, without any word,

Seeking His intervention,

Not a word to be heard.

What a mighty God I serve,

He will hear me for sure,

When words refuse to be spoken,

I entreat without any words.

I don't know my God I don't know,

They twist, miss, construct every word,

I don't know how it happens,

Yet I understand it is being done.

Westly Shaw Nice prayer!

vasumathy ramanathan deep faith makes it completely, nicely said

PRAYER

I raise my prayers to thee,

For I know you always hear,

When my heart is overwhelmed,

I need you to hear.

Father of all the living,

Those who sleep in thee never die,

The hope of all the living,

To thee, I lift up my eyes.

Father in thee I feel secure,

No other fortress do I need,

My defence, my fortress,

My all in all, just thee my Lord I need.

Seas have lifted up their voice,

Yet I need not fear,

He is always in command,

His love for me is dear.

In your hands, I leave my country,

In your hand I leave my world,

In your hands, I leave my life,

For I know my prayers will be heard.

Westly Shaw Five stars! I have to admit I went looking for one of your uplifting poems and prays and found it, thank you!

Make Me a Worker In Thy Field, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Make Me a worker in thy field
Add some meaning to my life
Truly the harvest is plentiful
Let me thrush in the sickle for Christ

Let me be a worker in thy field
Let me work for my Christ
He who saved me from all odds
Let Him be glorified

Make me a tentmaker for my lord
Anyway, my Lord, you may choose
Give me wisdom never to refuse
Best is what He whose

Add meaning to my life Creator
Make me thy worthy slave
Your bondage will be better than freedom
Give thy servant this grace

Every time you have canoed
My boat for me
Thank you, father, for this life
Seeking as God may guide

At his footstool in the morning, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

At his footstool in the morning

At his footstool in the morning,
Seeking His blessing for the day,
Every day let us start a new,
Every day as we kneel down to pray.

Celebrating every day for each day is new
Celebrating his gift life,
A fact that knows to just very few,
Let’s acknowledge his presence the author of all mankind

The freshness of the day can't be questioned,
Let's wake to meet the day,
See the rays of the morning sun,
An anthem to the day doth play.

Creator of the world can surely renew,
Where you and I may fail,
Let's seek our strength in the morning,
That in Him we may prevail.

Take all my depressions I give Thee    , a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Take all my depressions I give Thee
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Take all my depressions I give Thee,
Your shoulders won't fail  I'm sure,
What I can't  bear on my own,
I seek Thee all the more.

Mighty God Prince of Peace,
In my life thy Peace I seek,
You are God of heaven and earth,
Seeking your peace right on earth

You make my life heavenly,
Adding worth to my life,
Turning dead to life,
Turning dead to life.

Note: I wrote this poem when I was extremely depressed. Life had lost it's meaning. Christ shoulder I found worthy to bear my depression and I left it to Him. Prince of Peace granted me His Peace beyond compare. Let me thank Him for his grace favour and mercy.

They pierced me, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

They pierced me
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

You Pierce me with harsh words,
Thinking I won't ever react,
You are right In this,
Yet I feel each & every act.

When they pierce me with words,
I go to the one who was pierced,
I leave my wounds open to Him,
For He, my petitions doth hear.

If they called the master Beelzebub,
So what if they call me words,
My prayers reach His very throne,
He answers, my every word.

It's a reward of being too good,
My pain is borne by Christ,
I leave all insults to Him,
As my soul doth cry

Note: This poem was written by me when someone called me incompetent. The one who was pierced stands for Christ Himself.

When you insult, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

When you insult

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

When you insult a person, for his looks,
You insult His maker for sure,
You may mock me, as you wish,
Revenge is His for sure.

I have lifted my eyes,
The matter is in His court,
Wait on him just hang on,
God will judge you for sure.

When you mock, His creation,
You mock Him, for sure,
Wait for His judgement,
It will be given for sure.

You think you will escape,
You mocked the Lord most high,
Judgement will not take long,
To Him, I have lifted my eyes.

Note -My dear friends when I am hurt I run to my father and leave it at His footstool. He takes care of the rest.

Please pray for Job Ma'am

Interfere once again,
In the movement of time
You have done it hundreds of times,
At the request of mine.

You are worthy, I raise my hands,
You are our father you understand,
Add years to her life,
Your servant pleads.

Oh God of Israel to thee, I plead,
You are the God of impossibilities,
So to thee, my lord I plead,
At this hour of distress thee I need.

Note:- This poem is a prayer for our beloved job ma'am who needs the grace of God to recover. Please remember her in your prayers .

I pour out my heart to the Lord

I pour out my heart to the Lord,
And the Father, hears his child,
Always and ever abiding,
Saving me, His precious child.

Father of the fatherless,
Defense of the weak,
Beyond His favour,
There is nothing that I seek.

Let my trust in you,remain
Like that of a child,
I need, nothing, beyond it,
You, my father, and I your child.

Reginald Jacob ©4/January 1919

A prayer for healing,

I lift my hands to the lord in prayer,
I want you to intervene,
Shepherd of thy sheep,
I need you to intervene.

You have written the destiny of the world,
Rewrite it once again,
You have the power to rewrite,
So as a servant I claim.

Bring healing to my loved one,
You have power and I on thee wait,
I plead for intervention,
This time once again.

My claim is on thy promise,
Promise that you shall heal,
I leave my love in your hands,
For with you none can steal.

My continual pray for all my students

As ye are burning,

a poem by R.A. Jacob

As ye are burning,
In mid night oil,
I write these words,
To comfort thee in toil.

Let thy courage my dear,
Ever grow higher and high,
For infront of courage,
All barrier do die.

I am proud of thy performance,
And I am sure ye shall win,
Just a bit more effort,
For the path is uphill.

Don't waver a bit,
Never think ye shall fail,
Just win over fears, Aand ye shall prevail.

When problems grow tougher,
When courage doth fail,
Ask the Lord to help thee,
And ye shall prevail,

Keep praying my dear,
When fears try to grip,
And prayers asked in faith,
shall help thee go up Hill

I am sure thy path,
Is hard and harsh,
Yet I'll keep on praying,
Till ye pass all marsh.

Let thy candle of faith,
Ever grow brighter than bright,
Till the son of God,
May brighten every side.
