Thank you Jesus for breaking my rest

Thank you Jesus for breaking my rest

Your plans are better as I find

Building a better future

Needed a longer time

Every time you build Carpenter

Every time you are perfect my Lord

Even if I fail in any endeavour

It too is a part of his plan

I can't take the blame off my failure

It is part of my life

My lord canoes my boat for me

His will is perfect every time

Why should I  bother

When he is beside

Father care more for his child

I am His child I am His child.

Thank you for all the favours

Thank you for all the favours,

Thank you for all your grace,

I know I live in your favour,

I know I have plenty of grace.

This is my answer to the scornful,

This is my answer to those who doubt,

I am more than sufficient,

When in His love, I abound.

I stand not on my power,

I stand on the solid rock,

Rock, that can crush to pieces,

Rock, on which none should fall.

Rock of Ages, my solid stand,

I need no more protection,

For I am led by the nail-pierced hands,

Who in my shortcomings, Himself stands.

Note:-  The rock in this poem refers to Christ. None should fall means none should doubt His credentials that He is God.

Thank you

Thank you, for adding grace after grace,
Thank you, for telling you are king,
Thank you, for protecting my life,
Thank you, that's why I can sing.

You will never fail me,
Of this, I am very sure,
I bow in humble adoration,
For your love for me is pure.

You intervene,in movement of time,
I can see your mighty hand,
Outstretched to protect me,
So what if non can understand.

They think it's a coincidence,
I see, the grace of my lord,
His protection will never fail me,
Even if it be a sword.
Note- Dedicated to God who saves me, in his presence I bow.

He made the shadow retreat

He made the shadow retreat,

a poem by R.A. Jacob

He made the shadow retreat,
I can see the same in my life
No shadow didst retreat
Yet He added years to my life.

Once again I thank Him
For intervening In my life
Proud of His protection
Proud of his gift called life

Every day is a celebration for me
I have tasted His protection every time
I can't say it was a coincidence
For such grace  is given to me every time

Thank God you have opened my eyes
I can see your hands every time
What a strong security that never fails
What a great protection that always prevails

Why did I write this poem? because God saved me from electrocution.

Note: The retreating shadow is mentioned in the Bible, a king was very sick he was about to die, a prophet came to him and said that you shall not die but Live. The king found it hard to believe this so he asked for a sign the prophet gave him the sign of shadow to retreat backwards which can never happen without divine intervention.
