Foolish man cuts the branch,
On which he sits,
Thinking that he is very wise,
Nor would he heed the advice.
Council of the fool is folly,
They should not be advised,
Neither will they value it,
Nor will they heed the advice.
The beauty of advice is this,
That fools can't ever heed,
For the wise, it is an ornament,
To the fools, it cannot reach.
Wisdom is surely a blessing,
Given by one who lives above,
The neck of the fool is the stiffest,
Bending is an act of love.
