Labelled a poem by R.A.Jacob

Labelled

a poem by R.A.Jacob

Once you are labelled unclean,
You won't ever be able to wipe,
No detergent can ever clean you,
Except for the blood of Christ.

Come to my Jesus,
He alone can clean,
The blood of Jesus,
Has the power to clean.

As you cleanse the lepers,
You can also clean me,
If my sins are the many,
Then I hang them to the tree.

Note: The tree here means cross of Christ.

Flexibility is an art, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Flexibility is an art

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Don't place the cart,
In front of the horse,
If you really want to ride,
Why should negativity, positivity hide?

Be flexible if you want to survive,
Brittle things break very fast.
In this world, there is plenty of failures,
Why should you enter that part?

If you are rigid,
You are bound to break,
Why place the horse Infront of the cart
See flexibility is an art.

Words of wisdom, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Words of wisdom

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Words of wisdom,
Should not be spoken twice,
Nor should advise, be imposed,
For, they are just for the wise.

Fools, can't understand even strokes,
Why advice a fool anyway,
Neither can they harken it,
Nor will, they hear, it anyway.

The beauty of wisdom, the world understands,
Only at the opportune time,
None can understand it before,
Nor is it harkened, before time.

The rout, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

The rout

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

They threw the pilot out,
Now they wonder what would happen to the plane,
If only they had thought of it,
Before throwing the pilot in vain.

This is how it happens,
When we throw the pilot out,
It shatters our dreams to ruins,
It puts us on the rout.

Before taking action,
Before executing a plan,
Remember not to throw the pilot out,
Or you will also face the rout.

In life, don't throw, God out,
In school, don't throw, the teacher out,
In family, don't throw, parents out,
Or you will have to face, the rout.

Mind your own business, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Mind your own business

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Mind your own business,
I know that would be the response,
So I mind my own business,
Not thinking of the pros and cons.

What a beautiful world,
We have to draw lines,
We call it society,
Even silence is fine.

You can't, poke your nose,
Even if it's for their good,
If only I could do it,
I definitely would.

Yet I know the response,
So I hold my peace,
Many a time heart wishes
Yet silence is all we need.

What a pity it is for sure, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

What a pity it is for sure
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

What a pity it is for sure,
When mankind seeks for a name,
Striving to achieve unachievable,
Gathering to themselves shame.

What a pity it is for sure,
When we try to write on sand,
Waves of time wash it away,
Yet we can't ever understand.

Why struggle for vanity,
Why strive for a name,
Waves of Time,
Turn Stones to the grain.

Note:- Through this poem, I seek to draw your attention as to how people fight with each other only to proclaim their own goodness, and in that process harm their own reputation.

The title of the poem is driven from the comment given by my friend Eddie in my poem previous poem

What a pity, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

What a pity
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

What a pity it is for man,
To love metal more than Men,
Metal that cannot speak,
Metal that cannot understand.

Metal that adds to your ego,
Metal that makes you a man,
Metal that makes you superior,
Men you won't ever understand.

Maybe the fruit of Eden,
That man ate in haste,
Has robbed us of humanity,
Turning our essence to waste.

Yet the battle of Eden is won,
The shackles of sins undone,
Yet Man in bondage,
Has metal in place of love.

Note: The battle has been won at Calvary, by Christ as he broke the bondage of sin. Yet we still live in bondage if give gold more importance than men.

Don't look deep in man, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Don't look deep in man
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Don't look deep in man,
Don't dig deep I pray,
Layers after Layers abide
Just layers after Layers you'll find.

I think most men are onions,
Layers unending you'll find,
Neither kernel abides in them,
Nor shall ye ever find.

Person of man is deceitful,
Deceitful every man you'll find,
Earlier you realize it,
Better would be your Life

I thought, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

I thought

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

I thought they didn't love me,
Of late did I realize,
All such assumptions were false,
World love's like this all.

It loves the post,
Person's are immaterial as I find,
Don't take all things to heart,
Why should the blind lead the blind?

Love the Lord, oh my soul,
His love is perfect every time,
This world may forsake you one day,
His love is here to stay.

Till the time you bank on human love,
Failure and frustrations will abide,
The day you turn to the Lord,
Your life will turn into wine.

I am the vine you are the branch,
Severed from Me you are nothing apart,
Be fruitful and multiply,
Try my soul, thy Saviour try.

Am I my brother's keeper?, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Am I my brother's keeper?

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Am I my brother's keeper?

What God has given God should take,
No man should play a part,
He knows what is better,
Why should we put our heart?

Anger has taken so many lives,
Cain played the first part,
Why kill thy brother,
Adam sons are all brother at last.

No enemy to kill,
It’s my brother there,
Sons of Adam are brothers at last,
Where is my enemy it is all farce

Note: This poem has recent killings as its basic point.
You all are aware of how people kill each other in the name of religion, sometimes on the basis of caste, sometimes on the basis of, property.

World consider advice vain, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

World consider advice vain

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob

I keep a finger on my lips,
I try not to speak,
Words should rarely be uttered,
If only we can hold our speech.

If speech is silver,
Then silence is gold,
Deal my heart,
Deal in gold.

Pearls can just hurt the swine,
For they know not the value of pearls,
Hold my heart hold on,
Hold your valuable words.

Dogs return to their vomit,
Only to eat it again,
Don't share words of wisdom,
World consider advice vain.

Don't throw your pearls, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Don't throw your pearls
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Don't throw your pearls,
In front of swine,
I tell you a million-dollar truth,
Or my dear you shall pine.

My experience has taught me,
You just learn from mine,
All words are subject to interpretation,
No thought in humans confine.

They will interpret as they choose,
Refuse my soul all words refuse,
Every word can be used as evidence,
Refuse my soul all words refuse.

They will give meaning to words,
Meanings you never meant,
Hold your tongue oh my soul,
Or they will definitely rant.

Hollow have this one quality,
They see themselves in all,
Refrain my soul from all words,
For none can thee then stall.

Count your every word, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Count your every word

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Count your every word,
Speak if there is a real need,
Wounds of a bullet can heal,
Yet tongue its wounds can't heal.

Need to be too cautious?
When using the tongue,
Better hold it forever,
Sharper the wounds of the tongue.

The first measure then weigh,
Each and every word,
Every action has a reaction,
Hold the movement of words.

If it's essential to utter,
Then only let it be heard,
Word is the essence of life,
Count each and every word.

Wow, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Wow
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

For every unexpressed emotion,
That comes to me as wow,
Let me dedicate some lines,
If only my heart you allow.

How many emotions,
Never cross our heart,
Yet that's the beauty,
Of a discerning human heart.

Maybe the fruit that clothed us,
Clothed our thoughts and heart,
Clothes to cover our bodies,
On the face an invisible mask.

I think the attack of Satan,
Was cruel too hard,
For it touched us,
Changing the goodness of heart.

NOTE:- THE FRUIT stands for the fruit eaten by woman and man in the garden of Eden. This poem talks about how we all hide our feeling

We all need Blood of Christ, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

He is my bliss
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Do not forget Him every time,
He observes our every move,
If we forget to thank Him,
All blessing one day we may lose.

How eager we are to receive thanks,
I think God also needs a sign,
Love needs an expression,
Praise and thanks are a perfect sign.

Thank Him for all blessings,
Thank Him for we are alive,
Thank Him for He loves us,
Thank Him for He is life.

Let the world call me,
Whatever they wish,
I will still love Him,
He is my bliss

Ask no questions, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Ask no questions
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Ask no questions,
Be told no lies,
Why prick the wounds,
Why ask for lies.

Let silence prevail,
Let It not fail,
Every truth should not be spoken,
Some truth should fail,

Hide the truth, I tell you,
Speaking everything is not nice
Hide the truth I tell you,
It's the way of the wise.

So many of our sins,
Are true for sure,
Yet He cleanses them
And that's for sure.

Note - God forgives us, let us also learn to forgive and forget

Advice for my son, a poem by Reginald Ajay Jacob, India

Advice for my son
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Do not hear every word,
Some words are meant to break,
Let them not ever break you,!.
Do not put yourself at stake.

What comes to your desk,
Usually, you can't change,
Change my dear change,
Change the response you make.

Do not take every word to heart,
The heart is only for your own,
Let not strangers touch it,
It's something you own.

Why carry burdens,
That is created by force,
Refuse all such words,
That has pressure and force.

Who can change the colour of his hair,
Who can increase his height,
Why bother for the thing's beyond you,
Meditate on things that are wise.

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Every helping hand is welcome,
The only ego refuses aid,
Look at the downtrodden,
Don't act in ego so great.

Who can say no to help,
When nature in its fury strikes,
Help the people in need,
Put down your vain pride.

Don't play politics on dead bodies,
That's where we all have to land,
We need a helping hand,
Why don't you understand?

When we say the world is a family,
How can we refuse aid,
If someone helps us in need,
I think it always great.

You are worthy, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

You are worthy
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

I know, my place value,
I know, my face value, and
I know, it's certainly, not too high,
Yet, for me, Christ died.

Now tell me, aren't we important,
Son of God, for us, came to die,
If you feel you are broken,
Shouldn't we, give Him, a try.

Come unto me, ye weary ones,
Come unto me, ye weak,
Christ has promised salvation,
To all, who, from Him seek.

He can change your mourning to dancing,
He can change your attitude,
He is the master builder,
Please do not refuse.

R. A. Jacob

Note-- I had a negative attitude, my attitude changed as I looked at Him.
So many of us live our lives in depression for we think we do not matter. I believe you and I are very important that is why the creator of the world came to save us.

Some truths are better blurred, a poem by Reginald Ajay Jacob, India

Some truths are better blurred
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

You would look so horrible,
If I tell the truth,
So I destroy, every evidence I find,
Why give the world a find.

Some facts should be buried,
Some facts, shouldn't be heard,
Some facts should be ignored,
Some facts, shouldn't be given words

Every truth, should not be spoken,
Every truth, cannot be heard,
Every truth has its own potency,
Some truth, are better blurred.

R.A. Jacob
