Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Every helping hand is welcome,
The only ego refuses aid,
Look at the downtrodden,
Don't act in ego so great.

Who can say no to help,
When nature in its fury strikes,
Help the people in need,
Put down your vain pride.

Don't play politics on dead bodies,
That's where we all have to land,
We need a helping hand,
Why don't you understand?

When we say the world is a family,
How can we refuse aid,
If someone helps us in need,
I think it always great.
