Count your every word, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Count your every word

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Count your every word,
Speak if there is a real need,
Wounds of a bullet can heal,
Yet tongue its wounds can't heal.

Need to be too cautious?
When using the tongue,
Better hold it forever,
Sharper the wounds of the tongue.

The first measure then weigh,
Each and every word,
Every action has a reaction,
Hold the movement of words.

If it's essential to utter,
Then only let it be heard,
Word is the essence of life,
Count each and every word.
