World consider advice vain

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob

I keep a finger on my lips,
I try not to speak,
Words should rarely be uttered,
If only we can hold our speech.

If speech is silver,
Then silence is gold,
Deal my heart,
Deal in gold.

Pearls can just hurt the swine,
For they know not the value of pearls,
Hold my heart hold on,
Hold your valuable words.

Dogs return to their vomit,
Only to eat it again,
Don't share words of wisdom,
World consider advice vain.
