When you point your finger

When you point a finger at others,
Four fingers point at you,
Tell me, if it's, not so,
Tell me, if it's, not true,

I am a mirror, you see yourself,
No need to be afraid,
For some It's glory,
For others its shame.

If you have nose, to find out, rotten,
Maybe, you are rotten, inside,
What you keep hiding from others,
In others you can easily find.

Open your frustrations to Jesus,
He alone has the power to clean,
See I have told you the remedy,
Wash yourself, and be, ye clean.

Few mouths of lies, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Few mouths of lies

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Let the world, go to hell,
You do, what you like,
Some informers are backstabbers,
They inform, to add to your plight.

Let them say, whatever they say,
Every dog has his days,
Why should words, pierce your heart,
Take care, my dear sweetheart.

Informers that inform all rotten,
Inform you with malicious intent,
Every time they wish to rob you,
Of your heart's content.

Let the dogs keep barking,
Let them use, dirty words,
Few mouths of lies,
Cannot, the world, defile.

R. A. Jacob

Hold His hand

When you lack,a genuine friend,
Do not be dismayed,
You are one of the millions,
You are just like me today.

Yet there is a difference,
I am never alone,
I follow, the nail, pierced hands
Who my frustrations understands.

His friendship requires no prerequisites,
His love, is unconditional you know,
He will never fail you,
In His presence you will always glow.

Stop looking for human help,
It is cursed as I find,
You will land up in trouble,
If you follow the blind.

Cursed is the man,
Who trusteth in man,
I tell you it is a crime,
Leave your troubles to Christ.

He will step in by your side,
No better friend can you ever find,
Open your heart to the lord,
He will wash you and give you life.

You also are one of them

I tell you they are slaves,
You also are one of them,
When did that slavery begin,
When Adam ate the fruit then.

Your price has been paid,
You have been fred,
Yet you'll live like a slave,
Every now and then.

You'll hoard, more than needed
You'll hold more than you need,
You'll keep storing for others,
You'll never know it is greed.

You'll think, you are wise,
You'll think, you are great,
You'll think, you have plenty,
You need only as much as is in your plate.

Give us this day our daily bread,
No more of treasures do I need,
Father has to provide for the son,
What more do I need.

For every flower

For every flower that I offer,
They will offer me thorns,
Either I stop manufacturing silk,
Or I may have to mourn.

How can silk, lead to slashing,
How can watering, bring out thorns,
What did you water?
That's why you see just thorns.

Never offer a snake milk,
Nor make friendship with fools,
Never throw pearls at swines,
Or they will decide what to choose.

Dogs return to their vomit,
Only to eat it again,
Blunder often repeated,
Will always lead to pain.

Why am I suffering?, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Why do we suffer, why am I suffering?
I can't answer every question alas,
What I can't answer today,
I leave it to the lord.

Job was a man like us,
Yet he suffered as we all know,
Be patient in your suffering,
His love is all that I know.

We need to accept His will,
Each and every time,
As we follow our saviour,
His will is final every time.

I can only promise one thing,
He is by your side,
Cling to the rock of salvation,
Know for sure He is by your side.

Note:- The poem is written in answer to a question raised by someone who is very important to me.
