THIRST

Oh, the bread of heaven,
Let me feed on thee,
O water of life let me drink.
Too worried I was,
For the perishable food,
Now for the imperishable, I plead
Thirsty, thirsty, thirsty my soul,
Quench my thirst I plead,
Starving my thirsty soul,
They bread of fulfilment I need
