They left me in the desert

They left me in the desert,

They left me in the desert,
With two months of food supplies,
Looking at their unpredictability,
I had tears but none in mine eye.

Yet the hand of Jehovah Jaira
Came to be my guide,
Where man had left me in dismay,
His grace could still provide.

Streams gushed from the desert,
Where a droplet of water count be found,
He had made the difference,
On His providence now I abound.

Buy me in the desert,
Buy me near the stream,
Nothing can ever be a hardship,
If in the light of His love is seen.
