Threefold cord, a poem by Reginald Ajay Jacob, India

Threefold cord

a poem by Reginald Ajay Jacob, India

Threefold cord,
There the answer lies,
Nothing can break it,
Whoever may try?

If the cord is threefold,
It shall not break,
When we build upon Him,
He never forsakes

Are we sure of our cord,
Can it truly withstand?
Is it He, You and I,
Or is it just you, me and I.

Let us make our cord truly threefold,
For they can all stress defy,
To make a happy family,
We need Him, You and I
