Divide and rule, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Divide and rule

a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

Divide and rule, a policy so well applied,
You will not be able to see it,
Till the time, in pieces, you lie,
No, perpetrators, won't ever cry

They need votes I tell you,
Power is their aim,
Don't call me words
It is your game.

Rulers have gone to their land,
We have learnt the policy for sure,
They divided a foreign land,
We are dividing our own.

They say it's Roman's who used it,
I say we have perfected this time,
For the sake of vote bank,
So what if some people die.

R. A. Jacob
