GOD IN THE FURNACE, a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

GOD IN THE FURNACE
a poem by Reginold Ajay Jacob, India

There is one more,
In the furnace,
Besides you and me,
My dear, we need not flee.

Even if we are in the fire,
We are not all alone,
Not even a hair shall be hurt,
Of this, I am very sure.

In the furnace, the king,
Saw one man more,
We too find the same,
With Him, even fire can’t claim.

Daniel was cast,
In the den of lions,
He closed the mouth,
Of the hungry lions.

Elijah by the brook Cherith,
Was provided by ravens the bread,
We need not fear for sustenance,
We have a God who never rests?

I wrote this poem as I was seeking a job, it talks about how God himself is with us in our hour of our need. His providence can never fail
